CONTINUE

Continue in the things that concern Him;
He will continue to take care of the things that concern you.

Continue to give Him all that is yours;
He will continue to give you all that is His.

Continue to wait upon Him;
He will continue to be faithful to you.

Continue to seek His highest;
He will continue to give you His best.

"Obey me, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. Do everything as I say, and all will be well!" Jeremiah 7:23 NLT

NEW REVISED VERSION "JESUS LOVE ME THIS I KNOW"

JESUS LOVES ME

Jesus loves me, this I know,
Though my hair is white as snow
Though my sight is growing dim,
Still He bids me trust in Him.
(CHORUS)
YES, JESUS LOVES ME.. YES, JESUS LOVES ME..
YES, JESUS LOVES ME, FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO.

Though my steps are oh, so slow,
With my hand in His I'll go
On through life, let come what may,
He'll be there to lead the way.
(CHORUS)

When the nights are dark and long,
In my heart He puts a song....
Telling me in words so clear,
"Have no fear, for I am near."
(CHORUS)

When my work on earth is done,
And life's victories have been won.
He will take me home above,
Then I'll understand His love.
(CHORUS)

I love Jesus, does He know?
Have I ever told Him so?
Jesus loves to hear me say,
That I love Him every day.
(CHORUS)

PRAYER FOR THE NEW YEAR

There are many uncertainties and changes taking place in our world but one thing that matter most is God’s Promises will never change.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

If you are fearful to face your tomorrow, remember His promise to surround you with His love.
So do not fear, for I am with you... I will strengthen you and help you. Isaiah 41:10

No matter what happens believe that He will guide you and fulfill His purposes concerning you.
He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6

If you have to walk through difficult moments in life be confident that you will have victory through Him.
In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Romans 8:37

Learn to trust Him for will take care of you and bless you in more ways than you can imagine.
God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

Constantly remind me Lord and be strengthen by His unchanging Word of promise,

CONFESS THESE WORDS

That I will not be anxious about your life,
That I will not worry about what I will eat or drink or what I will put on.
That my life is more than food, drinks and clothing
That I will learn from the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet my heavenly Father feeds them.
That I am of more value than they, I am His child.
That I should not be anxious about clothing but help me Lord to consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin yet my God clothes them with great beauty.
Lord, forgive me of my little faith but aloow my eyes of faith opened
I am confident that in all these things we are more than conquerors through HIM who loved us.
I am fully persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I choose to seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all the things that I needed will be added to me. Therefore I am no longer anxious about my tomorrow for tomorrow will be anxious for itself.

I am thankful for my today.

LORD, help me to give each moment and every day to you. Most of all, I surrender myself to you. My prayer is,
Your Kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 5:10

COME is the most INVITING word

REST is the most WELCOMING word

BEING A MOTHER

I received this lovely article from a friend and I feel necessary to share with you.  Share this with all the 'mothers' in your life and to everyone who ever had a mother. This is not just about being a mother; it's about appreciating
the people in your life while you have them....no  matter who that person is.

Read this article and put it into action.  Appreciate people especially those who loves you. Start loving those closest to you.
After 17 years of marriage, my wife wanted me to take another woman out to dinner and a movie. She
 said, 'I love you, but I know this other woman loves you and would love to spend some time with you.'
* * *
The other woman that my wife wanted me to visit was my MOTHER, who has been alone for 20 years, but the demands of my work and my two boys had made it possible to visit her only occasionally.
* * *
That night I called to invite her to go out for dinner and a movie.
* * *
'What's wrong, aren't you well,' she asked?
* * *
My mother is the type of woman who suspects that a late night call or a surprise invitation is a sign of bad news.
* * *
'I thought it would be pleasant to spend some time with you,' I responded. 'Just the two of us.' She thought about it for a moment, and then said, 'I would like that very much.'
* * *
That Friday after work, as I drove over to pick
 her up I was a bit nervous. When I arrived at her house, I noticed that she, too, seemed to be nervous
about our date. She waited in the door. She had curled her hair and was wearing the dress that she had worn to celebrate her last birthday on November 19th.
* * *
She smiled from a face that was as radiant as an angel's. 'I told my friends that I was going to go out with my son, and they were impressed,' she said,
as she got into that new white van. 'They can't wait to hear about our date'.
* * *
We went to a restaurant that, although not elegant, was very nice and cozy. My mother took my arm as if she were the First Lady. After we sat down, I had to read the menu. Her eyes could only read large print. Half way  through the entries, I lifted my eyes and saw Mom sitting there staring at
me. A nostalgic smile was on her lips. 'It was I who used to have to read the menu when you were small,' she said. 'Then it's time that you relax and let me return the favor,' I responded.
* * *
During the dinner, we had an agreeable
 conversation- -nothing extraordinary but catching up on recent events of each other's life. We talked so much that we missed the movie.
* * *
As we arrived at her house later, she said, 'I'll go out with you again, but only if you let me invite you.' I agreed.
* * *
'How was your dinner date ?' asked my wife when I got home. 'Very nice. Much more so than I could have imagined,'
 I  answered.
* * *
A few days later, my mother died of a massive heart attack. It happened so suddenly that I didn't have a chance to do anything for her.
* * *
Some time later, I received an envelope with a copy of a restaurant receipt from the same place mother and I had dined. An attached note said: 'I paid this bill in advance. I wasn't sure that I could be there; but nevertheless, I paid for two
 plates - one for you and the other for your wife. You will never know what that night meant for me. I love you, son.'
* * *
At that moment, I understood the importance of saying in time: 'I LOVE YOU' and to give our loved ones the time that they deserve. Nothing in life is more important than your family. Give them the time they deserve, because these things cannot be put off till 'some other time.'
* * *
Somebody said it takes about six weeks to get back to normal after you've had a baby..... somebody doesn't know that once you're a mother,
 'normal' is  history.
* * *
Somebody said you learn how to be a mother by instinct ... somebody never took a three-year-old shopping.

* * *
Somebody said being a mother is boring .... somebody never rode in a car driven by a teenager with a driver's permit. Somebody said if you're a'good' mother,
 your child will 'turn out good'.... somebody thinks a child comes with directions and a guarantee.
* * *
Somebody said you don't need an education to be a mother.... somebody never helped a fourth grader with his math.
* * *
Somebody said you can't love the second child as much as you love the first .... somebody doesn't have two children.
* * *
Somebody said the hardest part of being a mother is labor and delivery....

somebody never watched her 'baby' get on the bus
 for the first day of  kindergarten ... or on a plane headed for military 'boot camp.'
* * *
Somebody said a mother can stop worrying after her child gets married....somebody doesn't know that marriage adds a new son or daughter-in-law to a mother's heartstrings.
* * *
Somebody said a mother's job is done when her last child leaves home....

somebody never had grandchildren.
* * *
Somebody said your mother knows you love her, so you don't need to tell her... somebody isn't a mother.

MISSIONARY - a precious gift from God

MISSIONARY
You are a precious gift from God

In a few days time, you will be celebrating Christmas.  On the eve it is likely that you would sit around the Christmas tree with your loved ones, giving thanks to God for all His blessings in prayer and also the opening of gifts.

As you celebrate Christmas, remember the missionaries out in the field engaging in a different warfare.

I am suggesting,

This Christmas as you open your gifts I want you to consider the priceless gift a missionary gives – the gift of love to the people which is out of our sight and so many times out of our mind, service to the “faceless” people for the sake of the Gospel.

This Christmas as you feast on all the Christmas goodies may it serve as a reminder to you of the fine qualities of missionaries, courage, good character; resilient strength amidst hardship; perseverance; fighting bravely against the forces of evil from all sides and displaying the love of God sometimes in difficult places and people.

You do know that a missionary responds to the call of God to do jobs we could not or would not do.  You are surrounded with all the comforts of your home, your family members are by your side and you may quickly forget them who have to put up with harsh surroundings. I urge you to consider them who are in places you would not want to be especially at this time of the year. They are demanded to bring the gift of adaptability to any situation, anytime, no matter how harsh or difficult.

May you remember them not only in prayer but also with your encouragement and financial support because they are the “Christmas lights and shiny ornaments” to people who lives in darkness.

On behalf of church, I give my salute all the missionaries.  Your response to the call to serve means so much to us. If I can wrap up these wonderful gifts of love, respect and admiration to your steadfastness in the work of the Lord, I would certainly do it with the finest wrappings and give to you in person.

We love you and we appreciate you and your family.

Blessed Christmas!

1 Corinthians 15:58

Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
